Designed and structured to be rugged and durable, this communication device can be used both indoors and outdoors. It is also ideal for factory use considering the handset is both dust and dirt proof. An optional handset that can be connected to a base and phone system, the Uniden XDECT 8105WP Cordless Phone Handset has similar features and functionalities of XDECT 81xx, XDECT 6136, SSE 35/37, and XDECT 31xx Series. And while the handset may be submerged in water and have no ingress of water when immersed at 1 metre from 30 minutes, it charge cradle and AC adaptor are different and NOT WATERPROOF.
